What a week!
So, it started with Sookie's and Weichao's graduations. Congratulations to both! =) First time attending the ceremony as a guest, was rather fun I must say (Thank God I wasn't the one wearing the gown on a 35C day! Heat doesn't sit too well with me, hehe).
A couple of days later...
Had Christmas dinner with the team at Airstream Restaurant in Glen Waverley. Allow me to introduce: Chris, Vicki and Dzenana.
David, myself, Connie and Lara.
Present from Chris! =)
Kinky drink alert! David's mocktail by the name of Pussy Galore. *pause* Wahahahahahahaa!!!!! Very naughty.
Connie's chicken parmigiana.
Honey lamb fillets. Both Dzenana and David had this.
Lara's paella.
Chris' Singapore noodle. Very angmoh-fied Singapore noodle, don't you reckon?
My very manly beef burger, thumbs up! See, this is what a REAL burger ought to look like, I simply sneer at those tiny burgers they have at Mackers, geez.
And no, I refused to use fork and knife to savour this beauty; I simply grabbed it with my hands and enjoyed every bite, a manly way to eat a manly burger. Hehe...
One told me some like to eat burgers like this layer by layer, with fork and knife! Such atrocity! Why bother ordering a burger then? It simply defeats the purpose of its existence. If you want to be lady-like, please order a piece of bloody steak. Boys, do not ever let me catch you eating burgers with fork and knife, I will so despise you for that!
And yes, of course I finished the burger. *smugly*
Chocolate ripple cake, Connie and I shared this. Gosh, it was simply heavenly!
The wonderful people I work with, love you guys! =)
The next day...
These greeted me as soon as I walked in the office, courtesy of the lovely colleagues.
The big family, had this taken prior to the Christmas lunch at Imperial Kingdom.
An impressive spread of food awaiting us at Imperial Kingdom, what a gratifying meal! (God knows how stuffed I was) Undoubtedly much better than last year's Christmas lunch.
Three of us again! ^_^ Connie, myself and Michelle.
Time for Kris Kringle, officiated by Fiona and Max.
And this was the twist, ladies and gentlemen. The pièce de résistance of the day, well, at least for all of them except us three. Apparently, they had been conjuring this conspiracy and everyone except us knew what was going to happen in the next few seconds.
Suddenly, all eyes (including cameras) were on me while I was unwrapping my Kris Kringle. Shit, I felt like I was being punk'd!
And this was what I got, a freaking play dough, not one not two but THREE!!!! What the fuck? Who's my KK? So going to sula him/her!
So this was the conspiracy. Remember the karaoke video I posted on youtube a while ago? Well, apparently almost everyone at the office has watched it and the conspiracy stemmed from it.
Beck and Vesna came up with the idea to get three of us limited edition rockers M&M dispensers. In order not to arouse our suspicion, a decoy was set up in the form of play dough, my so-called KK present. That way, we wouldn't think we were getting the same thing.
Damn, I actually thought those freaking play dough might be Christmas pudding! Biggest joke of the century.
And I eventually got my real KK present, a M&M dispenser, after everyone had a good laugh. &*%$#%*(*)
Oh well, at least everyone had a good laugh (albeit at my expense) and it was quite funny. I must say though, I'm quite impressed by their collective effort to pull this off and none of them spilled the beans, bravo!
Btw we are now affectionately known as the karaoke girls. -____-lll
My mango sago, yummers!
Michelle's dessert.
Just because I like how my hair looked like from the back, hehe.
The other table.
Our table, the cool table. =)
The important-people table, LOL.
For example, we have Max, Rod and Michelle at this important-people table.
Headed back to the office after lunch. As expected, none of us was really working after that lovely lunch, hehe.
The following day...
Went to Chadstone with Daisy and Weichao.
Had Nando's for lunch.
Did a little bit of shopping and watched Avatar later in the evening. Has anyone watched it yet? Because you simply MUST watch it if you haven't already!
Watched it on 3D which makes it even better. Gosh, Avatar is probably the best movie of the year (the worst are Watchmen and New Moon, pardon me)! Very impressive, James Cameron has done it again, bravo. Seriously, this is a must-see movie!
While we're at this topic...

Is anyone watching 下一站,幸福? (Next Stop, Happiness / Autumn's Concerto. Don't know why there're two English translations, not sure which one is the official translation.)
I absolutely love this!
Normally, I'm not particularly keen on Taiwanese TV series but this one is exceptional. Apart from the pretty faces, what's more important is that it has a solid storyline, I was simply drawn into it!
Once again, this is also another must-see TV series. =)
